Round 2: Frontend Round

The frontend round covered JavaScript, React, and basic CSS. They asked about closures, prototypes, React component lifecycle, state management patterns, and API integration.
What they were testing: Frontend fundamentals and ability to work in a full-stack environment. They wanted to ensure I could handle both backend and frontend work.
Interviewer approach: Practical and code-focused. He asked me to write code during the call, testing implementation skills.
Round 3: Project Discussion
Format: 60-minute discussion Interviewer: Tech Lead Duration: 55 minutes
This round focused on my previous projects. The interviewer asked detailed questions about architecture, design patterns used, performance considerations, and challenges faced.
What they were testing: Depth of experience, architectural thinking, and ability to discuss technical trade-offs. They wanted to see beyond resume bullet points.
Interviewer approach: Inquisitive and experienced. He asked probing questions about my decisions, testing whether I understood the why behind my choices.
